Tour OCC

Last week Tuesday, Taxibaan was invited to tour the OCC. With 15 people we arrived there in the morning to be greeted by two other interns, Jordi and Emanuel, who showed us around. We started of with a small presentation about the OCC followed by a little tour around the building. We stopped at the control room where they monitor the flights and the changes that they have to make. There we could ask all of our questions and Jordi and Emanuel were able to tell us everything we wanted to know. After about an hour the tour came to an end.
It was a great success and definitely one to repeat next semester.
Vorige week dinsdag was Taxibaan uitgenodigd bij het Operations Control Center (OCC). Met zijn 15en werden we begroet door twee medestagiairs: Jordi en Emanuel en zij hebben ons het hele OCC laten zien. We begonnen met een korte presentatie over het OCC en daarna kregen we een tour door het hele gebouw. We keken bij de controle kamers waar alle vluchten worden gemonitord en waar wijzigingen in vluchten worden doorgevoerd. We konden alles vragen aan Jordi en Emanuel en zij vertelden ons alles wat we wilden weten. Na een uurtje eindigde de rondleiding.
Absoluut een aanrader om volgend semester weer te doen, groot succes!
